Philosophy

Tower Academy is an academic based program developed to meet the
needs of our working parents as well as the educational needs of our
students. We are a full service school, which provides quality elementary
education programs, as well as, quality before and after school care
and programs.

It was once thought that private schools were for the wealthy or those
that sought a religious experience. Tower Academy dispels that myth by
making private school affordable for every economic class with no religious
affiliation.
Public schools in our area are entering an era of overcrowding, low-test
scores and basic inconvenience to parents. Tower Academy addresses those
issues by creating an affordable alternative. Our program is geared to
address the needs of working parents with extended hours, no in-service
days, after school homework time, tutoring, and the school is open everyday
except major holidays.

Our mission is simple..."to provide a warm, nurturing, extended
family atmosphere while developing the highest standards of academic
excellence and responsible behavior." We do this by developing
a relationship with students and parents that is built on mutual respect,
responsibility, trust and open communication.

The academic program at Tower Academy is a "Back to Basics"
approach. We integrate current prescribed public school curriculums into
our successful "back to basics" skill approach. Our teachers
focus on making sure that all students learn the basics and are at or
above grade level.
This process begins in our preschool where we begin to develop necessary
skills for effective learning. Our preschool curriculum is geared for
teaching necessary skills while keeping the environment safe, nurturing
and healthy. Students learn while having fun.
This process continues through the fifth grade. Our teachers work together
with each grade level preparing for the next level. This creates a continuos
flow of skill building and self-confidence which leads to a sound, successful
academic foundation.
The preschool and elementary years are vital to the future academic
success of our students. At Tower Academy our dedicated staff facilitates
that process by providing our students with a sound academic foundation
which helps our students discover and develop the confidence and self
esteem needed to succeed.
